Square Appointments + WordPress

The Square Appointments
integration for WordPress.

Square gives you a booking link or a Book Now button that opens Square's own page. This WordPress plugin shows the Square booking widget inside your pages instead: same services, same calendar, same Square Dashboard.

Any WordPress theme

The booking widget keeps its own styles, so your theme can't break it.

Gutenberg, Elementor, Divi

Paste the shortcode in a block, a shortcode widget or a code module.

Every Square Appointments plan

Free, Plus and Premium. Connect in about 5 minutes.

How it works

Add Square booking to WordPress
in three steps.

Square stays your booking system. The plugin shows it on your pages and sends every booking back to Square.

01
Connect Square

Install the plugin and connect your Square account in the settings. Works with the Free, Plus and Premium plans.

02
Add the shortcode

Paste the shortcode on any page or post. The builder can preselect a service or a team member for you.

[square_booking]
03
Take bookings

Clients pick a service and a time and answer your intake questions. The appointment shows up in Square right away.

Features

A Square booking widget
made for WordPress.

Included in both editions. Built for salons, spas, studios, clinics and coaches that run on Square Appointments.

Live from Square

Services, prices, team members, opening hours and availability are read from your Square account. Change something in Square and your site follows.

A clear 4-step booking

Service, option, date and time, contact details. Easy on a phone, usable with a keyboard, and your Square intake questions are asked at the end.

Your look, not Square's

Four themes (Luxury, Card, Flat, Square Classic) with your colors and fonts. Your WordPress theme can't break the layout.

Any page, any service

Show the widget in a page, a pop-up, a side panel or behind a floating button, and preselect a service or a team member. Several Square locations? Clients pick one first.

Square payments

Optional: save the client's card on file for the appointment, or charge the full price when they book.

Safe to test

Sandbox mode to test with Square's sandbox, multisite support, and a clean uninstall that removes every setting.

Themes

Four themes for your
Square booking widget.

Choose a theme in the settings and add your colors. You can also use a different theme on each page with the shortcode.

Square booking widget on WordPress, Luxury theme
Luxury Dark and elegant, for salons, spas and studios.
Square booking widget on WordPress, Card theme
Card Light card with a soft shadow. Fits most websites.
Square booking widget on WordPress, Flat theme
Flat Minimal, no frame. Blends into your page.
Square booking widget on WordPress, Square Classic theme
Square Classic Looks like Square's own checkout. Familiar to your clients.
Tracking edition

See which ads fill
your Square calendar.

Running Google or Meta ads? When clients book on Square's own page, Google Ads and Meta never learn that the click became a booking. Once the booking happens on your site, the Tracking edition reports it.

Amazing. Thank you so much. If I come across any advertisers looking for tracking support that utilize Square booking, I will be sure to route them to your plugin. It's perfect for solving the attribution problem that Square has yet to address themselves. 🙂

✦ From ad click to conversion
1 A visitor clicks your ad and lands on your booking page.
2 The plugin keeps the click (gclid, fbclid, UTM…) in a first-party cookie, with consent when you use a cookie banner.
3 Every step of the booking is measured, and the confirmed booking is sent to GA4, Google Ads and Meta from the browser and the server — counted once.
4 Google Ads and Meta record the booking as a conversion, with its value.

No Google Tag Manager needed: paste your GA4, Google Ads and Meta IDs and the plugin sends the conversions. Already use Tag Manager, server-side GTM or Make, Zapier, n8n? The plugin feeds them instead. Prefer we handle it? We can set it up for you.

FAQ

Square Appointments + WordPress:
common questions.

Install this plugin, connect your Square account in Settings → Square Booking, then paste the [square_booking] shortcode on a page. The Square booking widget appears there with your services, team and availability, and every booking goes straight into Square.
Yes. The shortcode works in the block editor (Gutenberg), the classic editor, Elementor, Divi and other page builders, and in widget areas. The booking widget keeps its own styles, so your theme can't break it.
You can, but visitors leave your site at the moment they decide to book, they see Square's design instead of yours, and Google Ads or Meta never learn that the click became a booking. The plugin keeps the whole booking on your website.
Any Square Appointments plan works, including Free. On Plus or Premium, paste a personal access token. On the Free plan, connect with OAuth through your own Square app. Both take about 5 minutes in the Square Developer Dashboard.
Yes. Services, prices, team schedules and bookings stay in Square. The plugin reads them from Square and creates each booking in your Square account.
The Embed edition ($49 / year) puts your Square booking on your site. The Tracking edition ($299 / year) does the same and also reports every booking to GA4, Google Ads and Meta as a conversion, directly from the plugin or through your tag manager or webhook. Choose Tracking if you run paid ads.
Just your IDs: a GA4 Measurement ID, a Google Ads conversion and a Meta Pixel. The plugin sends the booking events itself, from the browser and the server, without Google Tag Manager. If you already use Tag Manager, server-side GTM or an automation such as Make, Zapier or n8n, the plugin feeds them instead. We can also set everything up for you on quote.
Each license covers one website. Buy one license per site.
No. It is an independent WordPress plugin built on Square's public APIs. Your booking data goes directly between your site and your Square account.
Yes. The booking widget, the settings and every message are available in English, French, German, Spanish and Italian. The widget follows the language of your WordPress site, and the settings follow each user's language. Your service names, prices and intake questions come from Square as you wrote them.
Yes. Appointments Booking for Square is free on WordPress.org: the Square booking widget with live services, team and availability, two themes, the shortcode builder and five languages. The paid editions add Square payments, two more themes with your fonts, custom step labels and intake questions, several locations, pop-up and floating button display, multisite and, in the Tracking edition, conversion tracking. When you move to a paid edition, your Square connection and settings are imported and pages using the free shortcode keep working.
Yes. The live demo opens a private WordPress site with the plugin connected to a sample Square account. Book a test appointment and explore every setting. You can also install the free plugin on your own site.
Prices cover 12 months from the day you buy. After one year, renew to keep updates, support and a valid license.
